We continue to support leaders and churches on the Colombian Caribbean coast through different spaces for learning and connection. This year, we celebrated our annual conference with over 100 participants from across Colombia, along with gatherings in Barranquilla, Montería, Cartagena, among other cities in the region. 

The initial Churches Transforming Communities Conference and a series of workshops covering key topics such as Theology and Mission, Resilient Leadership, Sports and Recreation, Business as Mission, Financial Stewardship, Project Management, and Fundraising. 

We thank God because during this season we had the opportunity to launch the CreSer (Grow!) program, a comprehensive initiative designed to strengthen projects and help communities flourish, providing training for two tracks: Support for Strengthening Leaders and Local Churches in Church-Community Mobilization Efforts. 

We are grateful to have more than 60 churches from Montería, Lorica, Cartegena, and Barranquilla as part of this initiative.

1 minute to pray: Please pray for the churches and people who are eager to join this movement. Please pray for wisdom and guidance as we plan, and that God will continue opening doors for us to connect people and organizations in this network. We also ask for your prayers for protection, especially for those serving in areas that aren’t safe. Sadly, insecurity is growing for many Christian leaders and pastors, and we’ve had to avoid visiting some places due to threats. Some ministries are also struggling with financial challenges, so let’s pray that the Lord provides the resources they need to keep going.
