Short-Termers in the Amazon

Greetings in Christ Jesus to our brothers and sisters at LAM, may God's abundant grace be upon you all. The leaders at LAM asked me to tell you about our plans for this year. We’ve made our calendar of events for the indigenous mission for this year 2024.

• In April from the 16th to the 18th we will have a meeting and indigenous leadership training in the village Metuktire in the Xingú National Park. The Village Chief is Raoni, and we expect to have about 150 people there. 
• In June, the Bible course in Kresan village in Panaras.
• The Women's Bible Course in Pukany Village is scheduled for 150 women in August. 
• Then, a month later, in September, we will be meeting and training as many as 200 participants in Sokarasan Village. 
• Then comes a highlight! In October, the Indigenous Missionary Conference is planned for at least 500 people. 
• The November Christmas Rally will see the distribution of at least 3000 toys and we hope to visit practically the entire missionary field. Today, that covers around 32 villages, and we will travel around 3000 km in two cars.
