It is with great joy that I share this news with you so that you can rejoice with us in all God is doing here.

My ministry is going well.  On Sundays, there is worship at CASAI, which is the house where indigenous people receive health treatment. I also receive visits from several indigenous people here at home. I received two couples I met in Kôkraxmôr, the village where I lived at the beginning of my ministry. They were my students at school, and it is a great joy to hear that they know Jesus as their Savior.

In July, a sporting event was held: the Kayapó, Xicrin, and Assurini Indigenous Soccer Cup in Las Casas. The village of Las Casas is a community with around three hundred inhabitants. Still, more than two thousand people were there from the 9th to the 16th of July, with representatives from 48 villages.

I was in that village on July 9th at the event’s opening. On July 13th, I brought books of biblical verses, New Testaments and hymnals in the Kayapó language. It was moving to see the indigenous women in this photo so happy to be able to recite more than thirty memorized Bible verses and receive a New Testament.

In August, I was in the Kaprãnkrer village. There, we met together to praise the Lord and share the Word of God. We invited the villagers to come and participate in a program at the environmental park here in Redenção, and they readily accepted. The next day, I returned to the village with the group by bus - a bus full of people, all singing and quoting verses from the Bible.

In August, I had the great opportunity to send little books, books of Genesis, and hymnals to the Kayapó brothers who live in Mato Grosso. Pastor Bõprĩ traveled from Redenção to the village of Kubẽkàkre. It is a great joy to see local indigenous people from here in the region going to other locations to spread the Word of God.

Dione would appreciate prayers for her daughter’s ongoing health issues.  She may need to travel soon to Brasilia for a needed surgical procedure not available in her local hospital
