Thank you for your interest in providing financial support for our ministries and programs. Whether you wish to donate monthly, occasionally or on a one time basis, we offer several options for you to send in your gift.

You may authorize the mission to make either a one time or monthly direct deduction from your Canadian financial institution for the ministries and programs of LAM Canada you wish to support. Please make your cheque or money order payable to Latin America Mission in Canadian dollars, and forward it to our office at 3075 Ridgeway Drive, Unit 14, Mississauga, ON L5L 5M6. If you have a preference as to which ministry or program you would like to support, please include a note with your gift.

Please click on the Donate Now button below and you will be directed to CanadaHelps.org, the organization we have appointed to process credit card gifts on our behalf. When prompted for the name of the charity, please fill in our full legal name of "Latin America Mission (Canada) Inc". In the second screen on their site, please enter the name of the ministry or program you wish to support in the "Message/Instructions for Latin America Mission" box. If you wish to support the work of the mission in general, simply indicate "General Fund" in the box.

Note: Canada Helps deducts a 3% processing fee from each gift you make by credit card, which is comparable to fees which would be payable by the mission to set up similar services for processing credit card donations on line. Your tax receipt will be for the full amount of your gift.

Official Receipts for Income Tax Purposes are issued for all eligible gifts by mid February of the next calendar year. In the event you require a receipt be issued mid-year, please inform our office. As noted above, Canada Helps issues receipts for all credit card donations, so their policies would apply for mid-year receipts on such gifts.

Spending of funds is confined to LAM Canada approved ministries and projects. If a preference has been expressed as to how LAM Canada uses a gift, the gift remains a gift to LAM Canada to be used to best advance its charitable purposes. When the need for any ministry or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by LAM Canada, any remaining funds will be used where needed most as determined by the Board of LAM Canada.
